Teammates and spectators were left both amused and horrified after a comical run-out in which both batsmen tumbled to the turf during a grade cricket match in Australia, Nine's Wide World of Sports reported.
Geelong was batting against Victorian rivals Fitzroy Doncaster when the striking bastman took off for a quick single.
However, after making his way to halfway down the pitch, he was abruptly sent back by his partner and fell to the ground while attempting to turn around.
The non-striker then makes a mad dash for safety, diving past the crease at the striker's end and leaving his partner stranded mid-pitch.
The striker is eventually run-out by a couple of metres at the bowler's end to the delight of the Fitzroy Doncaster players.
